Kamin Rhoades has a calling to provide children, adolescents and adults of all ages with evidence-based understanding and helpful therapy in a nonjudgmental and unbiased setting. She received her bachelor’s in psychology from Texas A&M University and master’s in social work from the University of West Florida. Kamin is also a certified Texas educator for grades 7-12 and served as a high school teacher and coach.
Kamin has a heart for adoption and was deemed ‘Adoption Competent’ by the Department of Children and Families.
Kamin has training in play therapy, adoption, relationship based parenting, and EMDR. A member of the Association of Play Therapy, she is currently working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist and believes therapy should be person centered. To accomplish this, she uses an eclectic approach that can include play, music, art, games, books and more. Kamin strives to tailor treatment around the uniqueness and personal goals of her clients.
