Adults & Couples
At Adult & Child Mental Health Care, our dedicated therapists are here to empower adults on their journey to mental wellness. We offer a holistic approach, creating personalized solutions to help you thrive through challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, relational issues, addiction, anger management, and more. Our mission is to support you in reaching your mental health goals, with care and guidance tailored to your unique needs.
We also provide nurturing support for couples, helping to strengthen relationships and foster healthy communication, intimacy, and trust. Whether you’re navigating family dynamics, infidelity, co-parenting, chronic illness, grief, or transitions, our compassionate clinicians are here to help you embrace positive change and move forward together. We recognize the work of improving relationships requires more time and depth than standard therapy sessions provide. For this reason, couples therapy is offered exclusively as a 90 minute self-pay service. This extended format allows for meaningful, focused work on communication patterns, conflict resolution, trust-building, and long-term relational goals. These sessions are not billed through insurance and fees are clearly outlined with a Good Faith Estimate provided before services begin.
You don’t have to face life’s challenges alone—let us walk with you toward a brighter future.

TYPES OF ADULT AND COUPLES TREATMENT
Our evidence-based treatments for adults include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help manage anxiety, depression, and trauma by changing negative thought patterns. We also focus on emotional regulation and developing effective coping strategies for intense emotions. For those dealing with trauma, or PTSD our approach includes specialized techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
For couples, our treatment focuses on enhancing communication, rebuilding trust, and deepening emotional connections. We help partners resolve conflicts, change negative patterns, and understand the developmental stages of relationships to promote growth and balance. ACMHC clinicians guide couples to build greater satisfaction and long-term stability by utilizing research-based techniques to transform relationship dynamics.
Couples therapy at ACMHC is offered as a 90-minute self-pay service. Insurance does not cover this specialized work. This extended session format allows for deeper exploration of relationship dynamics and meaningful progress. A Good Faith Estimate will be provided prior to starting services.
Our skilled clinicians are here to support you in strengthening your relationships and achieving a healthier, more fulfilling life—whether through individual therapy or couples therapy.
