Nidya Guitton, MSW

Nidya is a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern who received her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of West Florida.

Nidya began her mental health career working with different populations such as college students, young adults, and the elderly population in a psychiatric inpatient hospital. Nidya has experience with clients with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Major Depression Disorder, Grief, Substance Use Disorder, and Mood Disorder. Nidya is an empathetic and compassionate clinician who has a strengths-based perspective and goal-oriented approach and believes that every human possesses the inherent wisdom and potential to grow and reach their full potential. Nidya is trained in TF-CBT (trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy). Nidya is originally from Peru and is fluent in Spanish and English.
