Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of Tennessee – Chattanooga.
With a rich background working in community mental health and psychosocial rehabilitation for the Veterans’ Health Administration, Skyler’s experience includes working with adults across the lifespan on issues such as mood disorders, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, addiction, trauma, grief issues, relational dynamics, and life transitions. Her approach integrates a holistic focus on the mind-body connection, utilizing existential-humanistic and problem-solving interventions to help clients build insight and regain agency over their lives.
