Adult & Child Mental Health Care’s director is credentialed to provide an assessment and potential diagnosis for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Karen is certified to administer the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2). She carefully reviews the results and provides answers and valuable feedback to families of a child diagnosed with ASD.
We treat ASD for children ages 0-5 with:
- Clinical interventions to build social/communication skills
- Greenspan's Floor Time (to assist with verbal/non-verbal communication)
- Infant Mental Health (IMH) to include Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP)
- Self regulation training
We treat ASD for high-functioning children (Ages 6+), teens & adults with:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Communication skills building
- Mindfulness skills training
- Psychological assessment
- Self regulation skills training
- Social and communication skills training
